A small but humble prayer

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods,

We humble ourselves and pray to you, to help the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, Africa, have the humility deserving of true leaders and leadership.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we pray to you and beseech you to help the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, in their endeavours, each in their individual jurisdiction and capacity, to steer and guide their individual ships – we call them countries – in[to] the right direction.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we know that the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate come into their leadership [stewardship] roles with good and noble intentions. We know they have their countries’ and people’s interests at heart – some people would rather say, in the deepest part of the bottoms and, quite possibly, the bosoms of their african roaring lion hearts.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we know that the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, genuinely want to do and hanker for the right things but also, behind all that, they are motivated by personal interests and desire and want to afford and have [own] the finest things in [of] life, particularly all the finest things that money, wealth and power can accord, afford and buy them.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we also know that, that competing desire always creates a conflict of interest, and creates a situation where personal interests tend to override and in many cases, completely usurp national interests and many well-intentioned, well meaning and noble leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, fall victim to uncontrolled avarice borne out of power.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we know this is man’s folly, or maybe, sin, but it’s one such folly or sin that is and can be excused, forgiven, if only it is repented for by the sinner. So, on that, we always hold our high hopes for and in the mental capacity and modesty of the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, to repent their sins, and they shall be forgiven by those who ultimately become terribly victimised by their sinful behaviour and actions.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we humble and pray to you,  we beseech you as your humble servile servants, to help the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, and give them the wisdom necessary to put national interests before self [personal] interests and to know when not to let greed take the better of them.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all african big and small ‘G’ gods, we pray to you and beseech you to help and give the leaders of the world’s richest piece of real estate, the wisdom to know when enough is enough, and lead them not into temptation but deliver them and away from the corrupt mentality of a little bit more of what power and obscene wealth can accord, afford and buy.

On a passing note:

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa, I want to grab me a fine piece of the world’s richest piece of real estate, by all means possible but do not tempt and lead me into harmful and illicit ways and means. Shepherd me away from all possible evil in my unrelenting quest to grab me a fine piece of the world’s richest piece of real estate by all means possible and necessary, for I am your humble sheep, although I would love, and deep inside, really desire to be an outwardly humble wolf in sheep’s clothing, for this seems to be the fastest way to my quest.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa, I want me some real goodies, I want me some fine piece of this fine sweet pie – the world’s richest piece of real estate. I want me [some] servants, I want me a private and formidable army, I want me a population worshiping me but not to rival you (cause threat to you dear Almighty God father/mother), for you’re the only one God worthy of such power, and I am only your humble servant.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa, I want me all the fine things in life, like the man-made gravity defying and sky invading environmentally unfriendly roaring birds that fly hundreds of thousands of miles, traversing places and continents, we, in the humble services speak, call planes.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa, I want me, not one, not two and not three but a nice fleet of them birds, for just a mere sight of them, parked each next to each other, communicating to each other in total but sublime silence, makes me feel gloriously and graciously happy and lucky, no, luck has little to do with this, but everything and only with the power of the Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa.

Dear Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa, I submit my servile humble self to you, my small and humble prayer to you. So, help me Almighty God father/mother of all big and small ‘G’ gods of Africa and grant my prayer and small and humble request for a fine piece of the world’s richest piece of real estate, Africa.
